Thermostats in the Grata App

Section: ThermostatsCategory: Overview2 min readOverview
If thermostat controls are enabled for your unit, you can use the Grata app to view room temperature and humidity, adjust temperature, change modes (Heat, Cool, Auto, Off), set a temperature hold, and control fan settings. What is available depends on the thermostat model installed in your unit and what your building has enabled. Not all units have connected thermostats — availability depends on your building and unit assignment.

Where to find it: Open the Grata app and look for Thermostats on the home screen. If it is not visible, thermostat controls may not be set up for your unit yet.
Varies by building: Whether Thermostats appears at all; which controls are available; and minimum and maximum temperature limits set by your building that cannot be changed by residents.
Good to know: If the thermostat is offline or not connected, the app may show stale temperature data or show the thermostat as unavailable. This is usually a network or device connectivity issue — try the troubleshooting article before contacting support.
Contact support when: Thermostats is missing when your building confirmed it would be available; or the thermostat is consistently offline after following the troubleshooting guide.
